Toch ontbreekt het in onze maatschappij nog aan inclusiviteit en representatie als het gaat om deze groep. Zo zie je op tv en in films maar weinig mensen met een beperking, zijn bepaalde gebouwen niet voor iedereen toegankelijk en krijgen mensen met een beperking niet dezelfde kansen op de werkvloer. Dat er veel misverstanden bestaan over het leven met een beperking, blijkt wel uit de verhalen van Jahmal en Clifford, die een rolstoel gebruiken, en van Ay\u015feg\u00fcl en Annemarie, beiden slechtziend.
